Forum Error

I'm getting this error about 5 times a day. Some days more.

Anyone else? Any help?

I've cleared cookies and cache. That hasn't helped. It comes after I type a post and hit submit.

Then I have to redo it.

I few times yesterday got a message that the vanilla forums were overloaded and please try again later. I don't remember the exact message. Maybe related?

I've gotten the error when I click post, but then when I've looked, the message is posted.

Like I said, the error shows up, but if you navigate back to the topic, your post will probably be there. At least mine always have been.

Mine doesn't. The error stays on the screen and I can't click submit post.

Eventually is disppears and I can submit.

Let's say I type a reply and click submit, and the error shows up. If after that I click the N4Bb bookmark on my bookmarks toolbar, and then click discussions, I'll see the topic, go to the topic, and my reply is there. Did you ever do it this way to see if your reply is posted?

Yes. My reply is NOT there. I get the error, and did the same as you.

No need to get testy ;) I see in the screenshot it's on your phone. I rarely use my phone for this forum, I'm on my PB. That probably explains why I haven't seen it. I wasn't discounting your problem.

LOL! I wasn't being testy. I was saying you are lucky it's not occuring for you. Since it's pretty annoying.

I know it's not just me because at least one other person posted they see it too.

I've only seen this error on my 9930. It does happen on the full site when using my 9930 too.

I know, but it gave me the opportunity to say that, I've always wanted to. My grandfather used to say it to me all the time LOL.

I have seen a similar error but in a red background box. And my comment-post DID go through, same as @virmaline, in spite of the error.
I believe that I was on my Torch most of the time, on desktop sometimes (best memory), but never from my PB (certain).

About every time I try to post I get the error now. I can't even post anymore. Wow.

I just noticed this, but it may be happening when I use the touch screen to hit submit post.

Would that make any sense?

I'm using the trackpad now and it hasn't happned the last three (3) posts.

I'm on my PC with XP IE9 and sometimes I get the red box like @glassofpinot, so all I do is refresh the page and it shows as posted. I have noticed that the forums are slow to fully load, and that maybe part of the problem (but I'm not a techie)....
so I continue to clear cashe after a few times of going to different threads.
Now, on my Win7 IE9 laptop, I don't see as many problems.

Sounds like we need that emotion detector patent RIM has up it's sleeve.
