It's very confusing - especially to new users, or non- members when the default post sorting is by "vote" instead of "Date Added"

Out of chronological order means out of context posts.

Plus it's a pain in the rump to always have to click "Date added" to see what the correct order is, what the latest is, and make sense of posts that refer to preceding posts.

This happens most notably, when you are not logged in - and confuses outside lurkers.

I agree....there should be an obvious choice that a user makes if he/she wants to see the posts in chronological order, or view by the vote system (whatever that's supposed to mean). It appears that discussions are non-sensical since a response by a poster on page 98 for example, winds up on page 2, leading one to do a WTF every time.

The option should definitely be there, but default would be best by chronological order (latest post first under the original message.) I guess the vote order thing allows posters to see how their post is going without trying to remember which page it was on.

Personally, I don't care about vote order at all, what is this, a contest?
All I care about is the ones that I think are good....easy enough to flag them, and easy enough to see what ones everyone likes, or dislikes, if that is important.

I'd like to see the mobile Site have full functionality just like the full site. 99% of the time I come here I'm on my PB.

try using Simple Browser plus and setting user agent to firefox, then use the full site instead of mobile.

The only time I have to reset the order of the posts is when I sign back in. So I stay signed in most of the time.

Same here. I seem not to ever have to change the order. I'm always signed in on my PB and when I sign in at work or home it's still by date.

The draft messages and request can't be opened while I'm typing a comment drive me nuts. Posting pictures has been alittle buggy for me but I've managed to pull it off. Lol

I like the vote order for new users,
if you don't want it you change, but when this site is actually used for help rather than just a bunch of fans waiting around for BB10 helping eachother and chatting I see the vote system as being very useful.

I can't count the number of great threads that get polluted with chatter of which I very well might be a culprit and a great answer finds itself on page 3 or 4 of the thread, with the vote system the quality posts get put front and centre, open the thread asking about the best Office App for BlackBerry 10, and the posts that actually have quality answers will be boosted to the front so the lurker gets in sees it gets out quickly, and eventually realized how great N4BB is answers are so easy to find they then join.

I right now have it in chronological order because for the most part we chat about BlackBerry stuff, but this has yet to evolve to a help forum.

The site for me isn't playbook friendly when using bridge. Using simple browser plus now and it's a little better but still have things that don't work at times.

The saving draft box pops up and covers what you're typing so you can't see it, annoying.

The mouse over to see functions is totally annoying on the pb, when you do finally manage to touch "like" you have no clue if you did unless you touch again to see it is doing something then nothing appears that you did anything unless you refresh.

The button for emotions is in with the text which seems strange and again difficult to enact.

I agree with post order being default.

A lot of times when I do hit post I get an error that pops up and seems to be there a long time before you can do anything but at least hitting post again it usually does.

Just my observations on the things that annoy me the most.

One Site "bug" that bugs me is the quoting you used to quote someone and their name was inside the quoteblocks with an @ symbol in front now when you quote someone there is some html code within the <> which doesn't notify the person you've quoted them

Vote order is primarily the default when not signed in. As a member, I can live with it, but as an outsider they would think we are crazy people referring to a previous post that doesn't exist. Even and especially @StephenBB81, when used for help.

What makes you sure the help is all contained in one post? Usually there are many contributors and chronological post order is essential to make sense out of it.

What makes you sure the voting is reliable to put the quality posts at the top?
Maybe people vote for a post just because it is funny. What makes you sure that inane but useless and funny chatter posts will not get voted to the top?
What makes you sure the voting will put a procedure in the correct order when there are many contributors? Most assuredly it won't.

Sometimes and most times, the answer is not contained in a single post or the poster leaves out something, which is added by another post.

If the reader has no idea that these are not in chronological order it will be VERY confusing.

This already solved by the Question/Answer system when seeking help, where the answer gets identified and promoted to the top.

I have to sign in and out on about 6 different devices a day as I change locations.

@StephenBB81 brother I know what you mean about the html code in the input area. I've made a habit now of "clearing field" before I type anything on every input field. Thank GOD BlackBerry makes this so very simple. I dunno if the other platforms have that option but its one that blackberry os has that I use an awful lot.
I've also noticed that on this website my browser's menu stays pulled down and it can be a pita to.get it to close. I dunno what the website would have to do with that but its just on this site that it happens.

its alot easier and simple for the web admins to include a (mobile/desktop) link option. 1 fix everyone tech and non techie alike can benefit from. without any hassle on the end user behalf.

Another bug that pops up from time to time is when touching a like, when I actually hit the hidden bugger, I get a java script error when it is on. Hit the back arrow and try again and it works.

@Blackjack93117 I've discussed it with the developers and it is not possible to make the date added the standard because of the voting feature. But, once logged in and Date Added option is selected it will remain that way.

Ok well that sucks for people viewing the site that are not members, but thanks for looking into it @Lucas. I guess I will buy that, though as a lead engineer I wouldn't.

When I hear "impossible" from my team, what goes into my brain is "too lazy" or "not worth the trouble", because anything is possible when it comes to software. I call BS that they aren't able to sort because they have to count.

And you can tell them I said that. I mean, no offense, but this is coming from people who can't even count votes and comments right? Yes, I'm blunt, but nothing new.

When I edit my post, and click the Post Comment, it gives me a RED banner 'Failed to Find Discussion For Commenting' or something like that... I have to go to the top of IE9 and click the refresh.
