Ok we have photo contest going...we have a "post a picture of your town"...we have a food fanatics thread...the only thread I'm missing here is a thread to post random cool pictures. Preferably, let's keep this to pics you take with your BlackBerry phone or PlayBook. (oh and I think it goes without saying...keep it clean please)

and I thought this was cool from a memorabilia standpoint...it's an authentic guitar used by Elvis...he signed it as a personal gift to John Wayne, the actor. John Wayne's son, Tommy Morrison (the heavyweight boxer) had it authenticated and there's a letter from Tommy Morrison that tells the story of the guitar and where it came from.



Speaking of cool guitars...how about Corvettes and guitars mixed?

I was taking a picture of the new snow one morning and happened to get the barn framed in the side view mirror. I thought is was kinda cool how that worked out.

My son was goofing around, flipping a nickel, playing heads or tails. He missed catching it and this is how it landed on the window ledge.

Kinda messed up his 50/50 odds of getting heads. :D

Hah! Yeah it does kinda. Their wedding reception was awesome. The theme you see in the cake was echoed in a majority of the decorations. They also had an all you can eat "candy" bar -- was basically a long bar that had numerous jars full of various candy -- like an old school candy shop, you could take a little bag and get as much as you wanted. They also had one of those little photo booths that you could jam into with your friends, put on various hat/mustache/sunglasses/plastic bling props, and take as many pictures as you wanted. It was super fun.
